I’ll be honest—I didn’t think I would enjoy the course at first. I’ve always been more of an in-person learner, and I wasn’t sure how much I’d actually get out of an online lesson. But I was so pleasantly surprised. The way the course is filmed makes it feel like a private session—you’re right there with me every step of the way. Each episode is short and to the point, which makes it super easy to rewatch whenever I need a refresher. I also loved using the app for that exact reason.
Before the lesson, my makeup routine hadn’t changed in years. I was doing the same look for day and night—maybe with a touch of glitter in the evening—and I had no idea how to contour or use bronzer. I’m not someone who follows YouTube tutorials or stays on top of the latest trends, so I definitely felt like I was stuck in the past.
Finally a makeup course that gets women over 40. No heavy contour. No 20 year-old YouTubers or Tik Tok Influencers telling me to contour my nose into oblivion. Just real, easy-to-follow tutorials that actually work for my face now. Megan walks you through exactly what to use, where to put it, and why it works for more mature skin. I walked away feeling like I could do my makeup in 10 minutes flat and actually look fresh, not overdone. I also loved the soft glam look for my recent birthday, everyone thought I'd had my makeup professional done!
I have never known how to apply makeup the correct way, and this course has been so easy to follow! I can honestly say I am so good at doing my own makeup now. I am shocked how easy it is, once you know how. Thank you Megan, I have always wanted to do one of your Brisbane lessons, but living in Melbourne now I have been able to learn from home. The best part is being able to re-watch the makeup videos while I am getting ready for events. So helpful. Thank you x
I purchased the Master Your Makeup Online course and it is excellent! I am on maternity leave and have been watching it while bub sleeps and it's wonderful to have a bit of self care so I feel more like 'myself'' again after months of little sleep. The tutorials are so easy to follow and I had so many makeup products that I now know how to use. My husband even commented on how well I look which made my day! And I really LOVE the makeup workbook, I have it on my phone. Thank you so much :)
I bought Megan's new online lessons and the video tutorials are beginner friendly and very easy to follow along. I had never had anyone explain how to apply blush and eyeshadow and now I am able to wear it and feel confident on how to apply it. I have had so many comments on my makeup lately which is wonderful. I live in Northern NSW so I have really enjoyed being able to do this from home. One day I hope to visit Brisbane and come and meet you Megan! Thank you.
